Property investors 'attracted to France'

Many property investors are attracted to France because of the timeless appeal of its towns and cities, according to one expert.

Terresens business development manager Charlie Williams made the comments after the FutureBrand Country Brand Index named France among the world's top 10 brands.

The country came in second and third place for the food and attractions categories, with the glamour of Paris' Eiffel Tower and the city's penchant for fine dining sure to have had an impact.

Williams championed the global reputation of France, something which is backed up by its coming ninth in the 113 country study's category of places people would most like to live.

He added: "It has an unbeatable reputation and with a solid country brand, people will always stop by and visit, making this a reliable bet for property investors."
